1. "8 Glasses fit everyone"

False. A 50 kg desk worker needs far less than a 90 kg athlete. Fixed glass targets ignore body mass, climate, and diet.

2. "Coffee dehydrates you"

False. Moderate coffee/tea consumption (3-4 cups daily) provides net hydration. The liquid ingested exceeds the mild diuretic effect.

3. "Drink only when thirsty"

Incomplete. Thirst kicks in after 1-2% water loss is already present. In elderly populations, thirst sensation is naturally blunted.

4. "Clear urine is required"
